XY Controller

A two-dimensional pad that turns gestures into control voltage. Drag the puck around the surface and its position streams out as two independent CVs — perfect for hands-on, expressive modulation of two parameters at once.

Controls

• Pad — drag the puck to set the output; click anywhere to jump straight to that spot, and double-click to recentre. The horizontal position becomes X, the vertical position becomes Y, each spanning 0–10V and resting at 5V until you move it.

Inputs & outputs

• X / Y — the puck's horizontal and vertical position as CV. Patch them to filter cutoff, pan, wavefolder depth, oscillator pitch — any pair of destinations you want to sweep together with one motion.

Tips

• Aim a single gesture at two related parameters (cutoff and resonance, say) to carve sweeps that would take two hands on separate knobs.
• Each axis rests at 5V, so the centre reads as neutral and either corner reaches a full extreme — double-click to snap back home mid-performance.
