Stereo Mixer
Blends up to eight stereo channels into a single stereo bus, each with its own level and balance. The workhorse for summing stereo voices, layering loops, or folding effect returns back into your mix while keeping their left/right image intact.
Controls
- Level 1–8 — how much of each channel reaches the mix; fully down mutes it.
- Pan 1–8 — a stereo balance for each channel: center passes both sides at unity, turn right to fade the left side down, turn left to fade the right side down. Because it attenuates one side instead of crossfading, there's no center dip — it rebalances an existing stereo image.
- Mute 1–8 — silences the channel while lit. Mutes fade over a few
milliseconds, so punching channels in and out mid-performance never clicks.
- CH — how many channel strips are exposed, from 2 to 8; hidden channels are pruned along with their cables.
- Master — overall level of the summed stereo output.
Inputs & outputs
- In 1–8 (L/R) — each channel takes a stereo input pair; patch both jacks for a stereo source, or one for mono.
- Out L / Out R — the summed stereo result.
Tips
- Levels sum at unity, so several hot channels can stack past full scale — ease Master down to recover headroom.
- To pan a mono source, patch it to both of a channel's input jacks; Pan then sweeps it left to right like a real panner — just note the center sits a touch louder than the extremes, since nothing fills in the missing center dip.
