Keyboard

A clickable two-octave keyboard for playing notes straight into a patch — audition a sound, test a voice, or trigger an envelope without wiring up another source.

Controls

  • Keys — click a key to play it, or drag across the keyboard to glissando. The pressed key sets the pitch and opens the gate.
  • Octave — shifts the whole keyboard up or down by up to two octaves; the labels follow.
  • Hold — latches the gate so a note keeps sounding after you release the key, leaving both hands free to tweak the patch. Off returns to momentary play.

Inputs & outputs

  • CV — pitch as 1V/oct, with 0V at C4. Patch it to an oscillator's pitch input.
  • Gate — sits at 10V while a key is held, 0V on release; drive envelopes or triggers.

Tips

  • With Hold on, park a drone note and dial in your filter and envelope hands-free.
  • Pitch is keys-only — for sequenced or modulated pitch, feed the oscillator from a sequencer or quantizer instead.
